When used with the B 9302 IO-rack assembly kit, the F 3313 and other legacy output modules (such as F 3311, F 3312, F 3314, F 3323) must not be used for safety-related outputs due to design modifications in the shutdown mechanism:
The supply voltage cannot be automatically switched off in the event of a defective central module.
Outputs cannot be reset independently from the CPU, which may compromise safety isolation.
Only B 9302-compatible modules should be used for safety-critical output functions.
